Area Description

Telefonica Insurance Sucursal UK is a non-life insurance company that belongs to Telefonica Seguros y Reaseguros Compañía Aseguradora SAU, a company domiciled in Spain with branches also in the UK and Germany.

 

Mission

The branch's Reporting Manager must produce all the necessary reports to support decision-making and achieve the best performance of the insurance program offered by the company in the United Kingdom. For now, he will focus on mobile phone insurance.

 

Main activities and responsabilities

  • Lead the reporting team within the UK programme, proactively managing the reports required for day-to-day management.
  • Responsible for methods, systems, collection, tracking analysis, data reporting, metrics and data quality for UK program performance.
  • Carry out profitability analysis in different terminals, providing information to Operations on opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and produce information on a regular and ad-hoc basis (on request) regarding the operational performance of the UK program (MI, Bordereau of the program, Indemnity report, Pricing, Claims and Claims dashboards, claims forecast, sales and cancellations, etc.), ensuring sufficient frequency, granularity, accuracy and information to actively facilitate appropriate decision-making.
  • Produce business cases to propose solutions to address and/or improve performance reporting.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends, as well as experience in formulating evidence-based strategic recommendations.
  • Manage and maintain dashboards and performance metrics, including completion, validation, submission, tracking, and issuance in a timely manner and on schedule.
  • Participate in the development of new methodologies, processes, tools and techniques to improve current performance reports.
  • Identify operational problems and opportunities where analysis and information could improve program performance.
  • Track agreed improvement actions through to completion, using data to assess whether the actions taken have resulted in improved performance.
  • Work together with the different partners to update and improve all reports, including designing new reports, adapting existing reports and establishing best practices.

 

Required academic background

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or similar

 

Languages

  • bilingual english

 

Technical knowledge

  • Advanced level of Excel
  • Insurance and processes

 

Specific skills

 

Project management, teamwork skills, autonomy, proactivity, empathy, analytical and problem-solving skills, work under pressure, communication skills, able to produce concise and informative reports in tight deadlines.

 

Professional experience

  • More than 2 years in insurance and reporting management.
  • Having had Telecommunications companies as a client will be valued.
