Connectivity Innovation is a department within Telefonica’s Global Innovation Unit. Our vision is driving a new wave of growth for Telefónica using connectivity technology to change the way we live, for the better, we deliver growth innovation. Our mission is creating new services and experiences around connectivity to enhance Telefónicas current portfolio. Within Connectivity Innovation you will be part of the 5gNow team focused on developing private connectivity products that empower Telefonica’s position in B2B digitalization
We are a highly motivated, multidisciplinary team, with startup mentality with focus building things and on solving problems considering the end to end: Business, UX and Technology.

MISSION 
A new generation of technologies is transforming connectivity. Convergence of the 5G, network softwarization & programmability and the public cloud is changing the way we create products and connectivity experiences for our clients. We are a team of doers/builders wlling to embrace these technologies to generate sources of value for Telefonica clients.

We are looking for a service designer to participate in the complete UX process for our products: from initial market research,  conceptualization of the value proposition, design UX/UI to final testing and validation. The candidate shall work with lean startup methdology to validate critical user and product hypothesis.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Define product value proposition for  connnectivity products with high technical underlying complexity
• Fill in, prioritize and defend user stories for product development working with a muulti-disciplinary team
• Design, plan and execute and analyze customer research plans
• Transform customer research insights into key product features, user journey and UI
• Iterate product to incorporate feedback from users, stakeholders and oeprating business
• Prototype UI with Invision, Sketch or other design apps to demonstrate and present preliminary experience and test with users.
• Align and work with product development team

NATURE OF PROBLEMS & CHALLENGES 

The candidate will face a high technical and technological complexity product demanding complex problem understanding and solutions.
The candidate needs to work and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams: devops, development, strategy, business, legal, etc.

EDUCATION REQUIRED

Msc/BsC in Industrial design engineering, Psychology, Sociology or specific degree on Service Design, UX Design.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE 
• Technical knowledge will ba valued; particularly for cloud/connectivity products and/or sw development

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Preferably 4 years of experience in Service Design, Interaction and visual design,  Industrial design, UX  design
• Experience in startups will be valued
• Work with agile methodologes with development team
