What to expect  

  • Development, management, and communication of Telefonica's Germany-wide integration architecture  guidance and  principles  ,   e2e solution and  channel architecture 
  • Technical and disciplinary team management of architects, as well as coordination and management of solution design within that domains  and national or international architectural activities within Telefonica Germany and/or the Telefonica Group
  • Securing the architecture support for the transformation of the IT landscape on the domain level, incl. planning, tracking, and delivering of the architecture artefacts
  • Coordination and control of suppliers for architecture services (e.g., adequate controlling, planning, and commissioning, tracking of vendor KPIs)
  • Responsible contact person: Ensuring the implementation of the topics of development and communication of the Germany-wide e2e solution and integration 
  • Definition and documentation of the functional architecture changes within integration architecture , e2e solutions and channel domain , architecture compliance and international cooperation within the Telefonica Group
  • Planning and implementation of measures to continuously improve quality and increase efficiency, also in cooperation with other departments, including the identification of synergy effects
  • Development and assurance of measures for continuous improvement of the Telefonica IT architecture in area of responsibilities 


What you bring

  • A successfully completed university degree (e.g., computer science, communications engineering, electrical engineering) or a comparable degree
  • More than 7 years of professional experience in the field of IT, as well as in the area of mobile communications, fixed network, digital network technology, preferably in the area of solution architecture and significant practical experience in the areas of IT architecture, design and/or planning
  • Management experience or a recognizable potential to assume a management role in the future
  • Project management experience in larger technology projects in line and matrix organization
  • Experience in supplier management
  • Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills with practical experience in the implementation of IT solutions
  • Proficiency in English language
  • High level of self-motivation with result-oriented working methods as well as cost awareness and creativity
