YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK…

 

Building on Telefonica Tech’s mission, the USA Channel Sales Specialist role is key to our growth strategy.

 

The role is required to lead and create the Channel Strategy / Partner Program for all our services in the US (Cybersecurity, Cloud and IoT), to capture the value from large and medium enterprise segments. The Channel Sales Specialist will lead and execute the strategy to work with partners, i.e.

  • Identify, pitch and recruit partners through multi-level contacts, understanding their GTM process.
  • Sign agreements that include business targets and measurable KPIs (to grow the size of the partner´s business and Telefonica Tech’s share).
  • Onboard and enable partners.
  • Ensure business processes are created, streamlined, documented, and maintained for integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborate on demand generation activities with channel partners and provide comprehensive support and guidance regarding product and solution campaigns, to ensure pipeline development.
  • Evaluate and develop the offering of ancillary solutions to maximize sales.
  • Follow up the business and prepare Business Review reports.
  • Manage relationships and act as single point of contact (SPOC).

 

To do so, you will need:

  • A thorough understanding of Telefonica Tech’s products and services.
  • Ability to communicate the strengths of our offering and overcome objections.
  • To promote Telefonica Tech offering.
  • Ability to motivate partners’ salesforce.
  • Account management skills, to partner effectively with other account executives, both from Telefonica Tech and the partner.

 

The role will need to orchestrate and provide feedback to the rest of the organization (B2B Sales, Operations, Marketing and Product & Go-to-Market teams) to ensure the partner offerings are aligned with customer requirements, financial objectives, and Telefonica Tech Inc. strategic and sales plans.

Technical profile and at least 5 years in channel sales experience in the US market.

 

Your match?

  • About your experience:
    • 5+ years’ Cloud, Cybersecurity and IoT business development experience and demonstrable track record of quota overachievement.
    • Wide network of potential technological partners
    • A track record of negotiating and executing business via partners in the US market, including Agents/Subagents, MSPs, VARs, Consultants, Integrators, Master Distributors, IT Providers….
    • Other experience that would be valued:
      • Enterprise, channel or partner ecosystem
      • Sales of ancillary services, targeted at SMEs and homes (either direct or through large demand aggregators).

 

  • About you:
    • Energetic, methodical, and oriented to getting things done.
    • Excel in collaboration skills in an international environment and matrixed organizations.
    • Have a high level of commitment to relationship building.

 

  • Preferred Qualification:
    • Bachelor's Degree in IT Engineering, Network/Telecom Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Familiar with Salesforce, forecasting and sales methodologies.

 

  • Languages :
  • Native English
  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Portuguese is a plus.
