12 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the Team:

 

The team are operationally responsible for system administration of a number network element management operational systems deployed that are managing Circuit & Packet core, Transmission and radio network elements, such as Ericsson OSS-RC, ENM & SO.EM; Ciena One Control, MC-P; Nokia NFM-P and Nokia NetAct.

 

Your Role:

 

As a Support Analyst, your primary function will be to maintain the high fault resolution & availability targets demanded by the business. You will be responsible for  pro-actively monitoring and maintaining the system(s) under your remit handling 1st and 2nd line network troubleshooting, resolving internal customer and network support system issues working with vendors, other Telefonica Network teams and managed services, as well as assisting in the delivery of fixes and upgrades to these systems to support the continuing network evolution.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Team-focused with a focus for clear communication, you’ll be a tenacious problem solver who’s always up-to-date with the latest developments
  • You’re also used to dealing with a range of hands-on system administration, projects deliverables including operational acceptance criteria, design reviews, security management and associated security compliance, network and managed service issues, using extensive technical expertise
  • Maintain an advanced level of knowledge on defined Networks Element Management Systems and associated business processes to ensure the best customer solution
  • Provide visibility of delivery plans and results to both internal and external business partners such as Nokia & Ericson

 

 

Skills & experience:

  • You will have a good working knowledge of mobile networks and the ability to deal with constantly changing and evolving Network
  • System Administration of network element management systems
  • Good Communication skills and ability to motivate and drive performance
  • Managing of the solutions and support provided managed services
  • Change, Incident and Problem Management awareness
