Job Title: Sales Manager - Business Development Executives

Direct reports: up to 10

Reporting to: Head of Acquisition Sales

Department: Small & Medium Business

Location: Preston Brook/ up to 3 days in the office

Closing date: 28/06/2022

About the Role


You'll play an integral part in the New Business Sales team division within the Small/ Medium Business area. Grow pipeline through proactive prospecting activity and conversion of Marketing generated leads. With the hunter mindset, you’ll deliver results by developing and implementing action plans, correct forecasting, and enhancing your personal performance. Moreover, as a Team Manager, you'll coach and mentor up to 10 Business Development Executives (BDE)s. This role will primarily be desk-based, with occasional travel to visit your customers.

What you'll do


  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to deliver on all individual targets and important metrics through building a balanced pipeline of new sales opportunities
  • You'll collaborate with the Solution Specialist Team, Finance & Marketing to build and own your clear plan to deliver against targets
  • Pipeline management and proactive prospecting to be delivered consistently across each of your heads
  • You will build and lead mentor programs enabling further development of your team


The must-haves


In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • B2B sales experience in an environment that requires delivery of multiple sales critical metrics
  • Management experience
  • Strong Commercial Competence
  • Results Orientated

  • Working in an agile way
  • Telco background desirable
