About the Team:

 

Our Brand and Marcomms function are a powerful team, always reaching for breakthrough thinking. Through its strong masterbrand, award winning customer service, and unique product offering, O2 can provide SMB customers with a truly unique offering in the market. This role sits in the dedicated SMB Brand and Marcomms team.

 

 

Your Role:

Working within the wider O2 SMB Brand and Marcomms team, this role is focused on driving revenue from our existing SMB Medium Business customers (10-500 employee size), by driving additional connections, cross-selling and up-selling.

Day-to-day the role involves optimising lifecycle and retention comms and testing new marketing channels, ensuring every comms touchpoint brings to life the O2 brand and our customer-centric products. This role holder will utilise the marketing mix to help deliver a brilliant comms experience, with a clear focus on driving consideration and purchase intent within the medium business existing customer channel, to help achieve an ambitious growth agenda.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify opportunities to drive reach and consideration amongst existing O2 Business medium-sized business customers. Coordinate and execute these recommendations in a bid to drive purchase intent amongst existing customers
  • Create and implement a robust CRM strategy with a focus on driving demand into our sales teams, utilising the optimum mix of marketing channels and resources.
  • Own and deliver against a “marketing leads” target, and work with sales to ensure strong conversion across the different channels we use to create the demand (e.g. inbound, outbound email, social media etc)
  • Work closely with the wider SMB marcomms teams to ensure medium business customer comms are optimised to leverage the O2 brand, and always telling the ‘why O2’ story.
  • Co-ordinate and manage agencies to meet deadlines, monitor budgets, and assess creative/campaign performance

 

Skills & experience:

 

  • Experience of SMB/SME/B2B marketing and campaign development is a must, ideally in the technology industry
  • Practical experience of executing marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Experience creating and implementing CRM strategies to acquire, retain or grow existing customer revenue
  • Experience working with martech (Eloqua or similar) to drive customer engagement and conversion
  • Broader understanding of media outside of CRM is necessary
  • A strong eye for detail, and clear experience evaluating marketing communications from a performance perspective
  • Experience working with a range of marketing agencies
  • Has exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate marketing plans insight led and actionable briefs
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships to deliver the required business outcomes
