About the role:


You will proactively lead the business in determining and managing the best and most effective sourcing strategy for projects that you are deployed on, providing effective and expedient Procurement support for sourcing related activities, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


The position will suit an individual who enjoys working as part of a small agile team. The role provides the opportunity for a varied work load, and would suit an individual looking for new challenges. You should exhibit flexible ways of working, as part of a team of 3, your workload will regularly flex between colleagues and categories as both your, and your colleagues capacity dictates. Categories are as diverse as those listed below. Importantly you will have the opportunity to input into these decisions and input into which categories you wish to work on to increase your commercial exposure skillset


You will lead on end to end vendor sourcing, from RFI/RFQ stage through to contract sign off including tendering, negotiating, evaluations, contract construction (within templates provided). You will be capable of communicating and resolving any challenges across the business at all levels of management.

On the job training will be provided, both by management and via support from other established team members. Your ability to demonstrate a team player mentality, having passion and drive, and a proven track record in delivering results is more important than the breath or level of experience that you have.

  • IT Software
  • IT Professional Services / Consultancy
  • Market Places/Apps
  • Marketing (Digital, Creative, Media, Consultancy, Print etc)
  • Data Insights Services
  • Financial (Trading)
  • Support Services (such as handset/repairs, call centres)
  • Physical products


Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning, and execution of Procurement deliverables 
  • Leading competitive tenders (RFI/RFQ’s), engaging cross-functional teams and colleagues.
  • Leading commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers.
  • Contract Drafting
  • Reducing business risk by embedding greater Procurement rigour across the organisation.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to understand business requirements.
  • Responsibility for the development and maintenance of long-term relationships with key strategic suppliers, and the ability to identify the movers and shakers in sector, potential new partners within categories of responsibility.
  • Supporting the pipeline of planned Procurement activity (savings opportunities, renewals and projects).
  • Ability to manage and resolve vendor disputes
  • Providing support to the business to enable timely delivery of wider objectives.


What we need from you:

  • A strong team player, our success is dependent on each other, transparency, good communication skills, personal integrity are all key.
  • Proven track record in Procurement, 
  • Good understanding of IR35 and GDPR legislations 
  • Outstanding negotiating skills.
  • Be results focused, a starter/finisher.
  • A sound knowledge of core Legal contractual terms, and experience of negotiating and delivering complex contracts
  • Ability to work both autonomously when required, as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent influencing skills.
  • A high level of professional stature, with the ability to act as an ambassador for the business both internally and externally, with the ability to establish personal credibility quickly internally with all levels of management.
  • IT literacy – Excel and other MS packages.
  • MCIPS preferred but candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • Expereince of Agile ways of working will be advantageous
