What do the team do?

 

Priority is an engagement platform for VMO2 customers. It’s the longest standing proposition and continues to be one of the main reasons consumers join our brand. We think of it as a way of treating our customers to exclusive rewards, perks, and experiences, just for being on VMO2.

 

Things like getting cinema tickets on us. Getting closer to the hottest music artists. Or picking up daily treats while one is out and about. And we change it up every month, based on the things our customers like (with a few surprises thrown in too).

 

How will you fit into this?

 

You will be part of the main engine, a dedicated Priority team that oversees Priority development and its operations. On a day-to-day level you’ll be responsible for the creation and visualisation of performance reporting and analysis for Priority, generating actionable insight for the team, stakeholders in the wider organization and our partner agencies.

 

You will also be responsible for running our optimization & experimentation program including analysing AB and multivariate tests (MVT). You’ll be at the center of our development plans for our product, communications and content strategy as well as shaping the agenda for insight and performance tracking capabilities, as well as our data and reporting structure.

 

Some of the more specific responsibilities:

 

  • Consumer champion, understand and advocate the voice of our users and key segments
  • Generate behavioural insight into customer usage patterns across different user segments and customer cohorts
  • Pioneer of our optimisation and experimentation program - identify, create, run and analyse optimisation tests
  • Collaborate with our Data & Insights team to help design and support always on and ad hoc research programmes, including dedicated Priority tracker
  • Support the Product Development team with data led insight into user usage or the platform delivering continuous improvement to the platform
  • Support the Partnership team and Editorial Manager with data led insight into usage of content ensuring that the correct content is being delivered to the right customers at the right time
  • Support annual planning through the creation of forecasts that allow the wider team to plan activities and allocate budget
  • Manage a suite of performance management reports for Priority Apps across multiple data and reporting platforms
  • Critical link in the delivery of BAU plans and lifecycle framework for Priority to help keep the product competitive and relevant in market
  • Manage always on AB testing tools and in-App surveys; responsible for the creation, deployment and reporting delivering customer insights
  • Contribute to Priority & Membership strategy and plan, in line with wider Marketing plan, Customer Value Management and editorial priorities for Priority
  • Leading the centre of excellence by bringing in expertise and shaping the agenda for insight and performance tracking capabilities, as well as our data and reporting structure
  • Embed culture of test & learn in the immediate team and the wider O2 business

 

What we need from you:

 

  • Passionate about data and analytics and the value that can be created through information exploitation
  • Highly proficient in using SQL databases and visualisation tools (e.g., Teradata and MicroStrategy)
  • Experience managing digital analytics tools and common AB/MVT software (e.g., Leanplum, Optimizely, Google Optimize. SWRVE, Appsflyer, Adobe)
  • Experience of implementing and interpreting results AB and MV testing
  • Experience using digital survey tools (e.g. Medallia, Usabilla)
  • Agency and internal stakeholder management
  • Proficiency in Agile development, working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence preferable
