Infrastructure Partner Manager

A large set of activities are delivered today by a combination of technical specialist, product vendors, managed service provider and strategic suppliers. Over a period of time many of these move forward to secure the position as a partner rather than just a supplier. The key difference is made when the supplier sees their success in the customer’s success. To achieve this a lot of interaction, interfacing, check points and timely intervention is required to ensure that the various tasks are performed in good governance. If you feel you have the zeal to appreciate the flair of technology, product, and people to make them a summed-up experience to deliver a great value back to our customers to meet their infrastructure requirements - this is the place to be.

The key responsibilities:

  • Work with several delivery projects that move from engagements into operations
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders such as requestor, customer, engagements, design, architecture, security, operations, networks, DC real estate, OEM suppliers, third party teams across the projects handled
  • Perform periodic reviews on the in-progress projects enabling you to make early judgement into potential slippages that would adversely impact either schedule, cost, or quality
  • Work towards continuous improvement that will help to deliver the right value to business
  • Understand and appreciate a matrix way of working to manage both internal and external parties
  • Understand all aspects of the contracts, as well as our clients obligations
  • Manage through to resolution customer issues & complaints
  • Develop a value realisation model that would provide a view back to the business on the outcome for the projects delivered

 

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Experience in handling project delivery, task management and multiple stakeholder management
  • Certification such as ITIL, Prince2, PMP, Agile
  • Possess a good understanding of various ICT components such as compute, network, storage, switching, routing, firewall, security, database, middleware, applications and excellent project management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work with several priorities at the same time
