Working together as a team to provide access to market leading content is important, we do it using Agile working methodology. Work is owned by the team rather than individuals, allowing the team to work at pace across a variety of different projects. The content teamwork with O2 Campus Partners (who identify where a need exists), HR colleagues and internal/external subject matter experts and stakeholders.


How will you fit into this?


You will be the consultant in the O2 Campus team that focusses on our talent, high potential communities. Making sure we cultivate our communities of high potential people and that we review our talent and use data to advise and make decisions. At O2 we believe that getting the most out of and rewarding our high potential lies in enabling the business rather than focus on centrally HR driven initiatives.


As a O2 Campus consultant you are here to provide access to a solution and content that enables our business capability and helps to drive performance.

O2 Campus content can be digital such as video, live streaming, online classroom, interactive guides or eLearning or face to face such as a workshop or large event (or both). Being able to turn your hand to a variety of content types is essential.


You will spend your time consulting internally and externally, researching, curating content, utilising our social media platform and in the design, build and delivery of content.

Working with new content and the existing catalogue, it is important to align to the content management strategy. You will need to use the O2 Campus design principles to guide the experience. The design principles are;


  • We search for and curate content from trusted partners and open sources. Not duplicating content or creating something new when the content exists.
  • We focus on digital solutions, enabling learners to select and access content when they want.
  • We make sure content is ‘built for all’ and not ‘one size fits all’, and that its inclusive and accessible to all.
  • We create and cultivate social media communities and personal connections.
  • We create and curate bite sized content, brought together into a journey.


Some of the more specific responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain our talent communities, monitoring activity and cultivating on going conversation.
  • Working with our talent data making sure we review and maintain our talent pools.
  • Act as the content expert bringing the latest thinking in to O2 Campus, particularly approaches to managing our talent.
  • Content curation, applying research skill to sourcing content.
  • Instructional design, evaluation, and digital content authoring.
  • Fostering communities, both online (e.g. workplace by Facebook) and in person.
  • Facilitation of events using both digital and face to face methods.
  • Maintain and refresh the existing content catalogue as required.
  • Analyse and interpret data, market insight and change trends.
  • Demonstrate an efficiency focused approach which highlights resourcing and cost issues proposing workable solutions.


What we need from you:


Essential skills, knowledge, and experience


  • Experience working with high potential talent, including working with talent data and talent communities.
  • Creative and innovative thinker, using different types of content in a blended way.
  • Able to curate content into a journey to help someone gain new knowledge or skill.
  • Expertise in proposing, designing, and building content.
  • Comfortable with creating digital content at pace.
  • Comfortable in delivering high quality facilitation.
  • Can work in an agile environment with a basic understanding of Agile ways of working or willing to learn.
  • Good understanding of design and evaluation principles.
  • Ability to create a proposal with a clear link to a business outcome.
  • Relationship and stakeholder management with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Able to analyse various sources of data to evaluate the effectiveness commercially.
  • Ability to learn new and difficult concepts quickly and translate into easy to understand content.
  • Able to manage external suppliers and experts.
  • Comfortable with project management, in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred skills, knowledge, and experience


  • Experience and knowledge in using creative software such as the Microsoft Office 365 suite and the Adobe creative cloud suite.
  • Expertise with social media platforms.
  • Experience and knowledge with video production and editing.
  • Worked within an Agile team or function utlising agile methodology such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Design Thinking etc.
  • A good understanding of learning technology and systems training
