The Paid Social Specialist will report directly to the Paid Search Manager and own planning and running of paid social tactics for VMO2B.

The primary function of the role is to have a deep understanding of Business/segment goals, monitor campaign quality, and consistently and proactively evaluate new opportunities to maximise performance.


About the team:


As a Digital Marketing team, we own the digital acquisition strategy and targets across paid and owned channels within VMO2 Business. We lead the digital media plans and execution including optimisation in life.

Key responsibilities


  • Supporting the development and piloting of our Paid Social strategy

  • Growing lead volume in highly targeted campaigns with a real focus on revenue

  • Definition, delivery, and monitoring of paid social KPIs and dashboards

  • Planning & forecasting paid social activity, including budgeting & target definition

  • Understanding the return on investment (ROI) and other performance metrics at a Business/segment level

  • Support our Organic and content planning by providing Paid Social insights to support content development & content marketing campaigns

  • Understands the relationship between paid, owned, and earned social media tactics

  • Deep understanding of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap, etc

  • Understanding of analytics tools (such as Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics)

  • Maintains an understanding of new and evolving product offerings

  • Monitors the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how the Business/segments can best leverage new tools and services

  • Familiarity with monitoring campaign financials, budgets, and processing program invoices


The must-haves


In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Proven experience in planning and buying display media

  • Proven experience in crafting and optimizing owned marketing channels

  • Comfortable in collecting and analysing data and insights from campaigns e.g. google analytics, and Adobe.

  • Good knowledge of digital marketing principles such as SEO, optimisation, A/B testing.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management

  • Experienced in building a clear and simple presentation from complex analytics

  • Commercial experience with Google Analytics, Adwords, FB Ads manager and third-party search/social tools including reporting and measuring campaign performance and efficiency.


The good to have skills:


  • Experience in tracking paid social performance-critical metrics

  • Experience in delivering large projects and leading significant project workstreams

  • Experience with an agile and ambiguous way of working

  • Facebook Blueprint qualification
