About the Team


Business Service Management (BSM) is responsible for the delivery of managed IT & communications services to O2’s business customers within the UK, building on an industry-leading record of high customer satisfaction within its mobile and ICT business.

To manage the delivery and implementation of new mobile, data & ICT services for O2 Business Customers, with awareness and use of the defined delivery methodology, ensuring that services are delivered on time and to contracted customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities


  • To deliver the porting, on boarding, novation and migration of a customer’s mobile and ICT services to O2 customers, adhering to time, cost and quality parameters.
  • To maintain familiarity with O2 Business service propositions.
  • To deliver customer agreed requirements within agreed timescales and with minimum disruption to the customer’s business.
  • Work closely with a virtual team that may include 3rd party suppliers.
  • Agree and finalise the customer’s requirement, taking into account the deliverables, risks and constraints, to form a virtual delivery team capable of dealing with the technical, commercial and quality aspects of the requirement and delivering it within the agreed timescales.
  • Facilitate customer meetings and to provide all agreed documentation to the virtual team, monitoring progress and following the agreed escalation procedure when necessary in order that the customer delivery and implementation remains on track.
  • To ensure customer satisfaction is gained, maintained and measured to help O2 increase overall customer satisfaction scores.
  • Champion customer issues through to resolution, identifying root causes and working with the wider team to avoid recurring issues and document where necessary.
  • To share information with, and support fellow team members and colleagues across the business to enhance common understanding and best practice.
  • To realise and maximise account revenue for O2 as early as possible by delivering against targets and objectives and where possible identifying other revenue opportunities in order to contribute to the business revenue target.


Key Skills/Experience


  • People management skills (leadership, empathy, listening, relationship building, confidence, responsiveness)
  • Organisational skills (planning, problem solving, listening, decision making, negotiation)
  • Delivery Management and/or Project Management experience
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentational skills
  • Self - motivation and an ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
  • Managing customer delivery tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of mobile and ICT products and services
  • Commercial awareness e.g. contract and financial familiarity
  • Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Project an advantage but not essential)
  • Knowledge of O2’s billing systems


Additional Information


This role requires frequent travel and some overnight stays

Additionally, you will require a full driving licence
