About the role

To provide impact assessment on customer change and project requests within SLA in addition to new internal demand requests as applicable. Assess and analyse technical options as required forming part of the response or guidance provided.

Develop the impact assessment, fully costed with an end-to-end architecture and delivery recommendation in collaboration with all impacted functional areas, finance and commercial stakeholders.

Lead the impact assessment response by owning the stakeholder relationships internally and externally in order to author a formal response to the customer. Engage as required with the customer stakeholders to discuss/review queries and responses to their requests.

 

Maintain close contact with the PMO team to manage customer communications on status and progress towards submission within SLA.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Impact Assessment response to our customer within SLA by managing the document creation and co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assess and analyse technical options, where applicable, to be formed as part of the response or guidance provided.
  • Collate all the input from internal, third party and the customer to create the impact assessment. Incorporating all the costs, assumptions, risks, issues, and dependencies, having taken into consideration the end-to-end architecture and delivery recommendation gathered in collaboration with functional areas, finance, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Maintain close contact with the PMO team to manage customer communications on status and progress towards submission within SLA, flagging risks and issues with ‘mitigation’ or ‘back to green’ plans in place.
  • Engage as required with the customer stakeholder to discuss the requirements and clarifications of the overall response to a customer request,
  • Support PMO in maintaining, improving, and executing Change Request and governance process.

 

 

What We Need from You:

Essential Skills:

  • Background in IT systems including Architecture, Design, Development, and test.
  • Knowledge of IT systems, core mobile networks, IoT Devices and Device Management.
  • Working in a Telco environment within Solution Architecture
  • Technical option analysis
  • Business engagement skills
  • Solution costing and financial justification
  • Flexibility in complex stakeholder landscapes within an uncertain or changing environment
