Description of our Department and Team 

With the newly founded "Business Solutions" unit of our O2 Telefónica business customer area (B2B), we will offer even more specialized solutions for business customers in the areas of cloud & security (incl.SD-WAN), IoT and private 5G (campus networks). 

Our offerings range from standardized products to tailor-made solutions for our customers in the medium-sized and large customer segment. Our focus here is on new, innovative topics and modern approaches. Through new partnerships and taking into account existing cloud solutions, we as O2 B2B Solutions are able to integrate new SaaS offerings and interact even more closely with customers. Our goal is to be an integral part of digital business transformation as well as THE reliable and strong partner at our customers’ side. As a pioneer in the field of 5G as well as IoT, we are particularly proud to be able to advise, deliver and implement future-oriented solutions. 

 

Our "Business Solutions” unit is therefore set up as an integrated segment within our business customer area with close connections to all other relevant units and selected technology and product partners.

What to expect 

  • Accompanying the customer throughout the entire life cycle and building long-lasting customer relationships, including active participation in new customers acquisition process, and ensuring highest satisfaction of existing customers 

  • Analyzing business requirements, identifying risks to delivering flexible, innovative, and cost-effective solutions while ensuring an extraordinary customer experience from first touch point to in-life phase 

  • Leading customer solution development during entire negotiation and deal-closing process, coordination of different internal and external experts during these phases as well as creating and maintaining solution documentations based on project requirements 

  • Technical, commercial and product support, incl. review of technical feasibility, creation of business cases of individual solutions/projects, and development of automation strategies and lean, efficient deployment processes 

  • Management of sales funnel for respective area of expertise in business solutions (Cloud Networking, Cybersecurity, IoT and Campus Networks) 

  • Supporting the sales area by providing technological expertise to negotiations and formalizing contractual relationships with customers 

  • Follow-up on customer experience during project execution, as needed 

  • Follow-up on customer experience after sales phase (including monitoring of customer SLAs), as needed 

  • Cooperation with engineers and product managers to develop solution updates and additional features for customer solutions 

 

What you bring

  • 5+ years of professional experience in consulting/sales/product management in the required technologies (Cloud Networking, Cybersecurity, IoT and campus networks) 

  • Experience in operating on decision-making level; initial experience on executive level desirable 

  • Expertise in business solutions in connection with Cloud Networking, Cybersecurity, IoT and campus networks (Please state clearly in your application/CV if you have experience in one of these fields) 

  • Excellent understanding of the competitive landscape and capability to clearly articulate Telefónica’s technical and operational differentiation and value proposition against competitors 

  • Commercial negotiation experience such as opportunity-closing, discount responsibility, small business cases with project profitability 

  • Openness to innovation, flexibility, solution orientation 

  • Strong communication skills and expressiveness as well as superb presentation skills 

  • High customer orientation paired with the ability to work in a team 

  • Academic background in engineering, technology or comparable 

  • Professional proficiency of English and German
