The team of Global Wholesale Customers commercial area of ​​Telefonica Global Solutions is looking for a senior commercial executive for its area of ​​Mobility Services

 

Primary responsibility

  • Exceed the annual sales and profitability targets for mobility services (IPX Data Roaming, Signalling Transit, SCCP, LTE,…) with a special focus on sponsored roaming solutions (Connectivity Hub Service)
  • Know in depth the MNO and MVNO markets in reference to players interacting in it and main services being contracted in terms of volume and future market’s evolution
  • Develop current TGS customer base by attracting new key customers reference in the industry
  • Produce high impact commercial proposals in revenue and profitability together with the Marketing areas in TGS
  • Thoroughly understand the market and its players (potential customers, partners, competitors...) to create new business opportunities
  • Promote, through comprehensive interaction with the customer, new commercial opportunities in other areas of the Telecom’s market
  • Forge lasting and stable relationships with customers with a partner mentality to secure future opportunities

  • Growing and changing market with a very rapid technological evolution
  • High complexity of customer issues
  • Very important economies of scale
  • Maintenance of high levels of reputation regarding TGS’ services and products

 

Academic background

  • Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics or similar, although any other related higher university degree or degree in economics may also be considered.

 

Technical knowledge

  • Mobile networks (3G, 4G and 5G)
  • SCCP, LTE, LTE-M, NB-IoT signalling
  • Main IoT platforms on the market
  • VoLTE, LPWAN (LTE cat M/ NB IoT)
  • Roaming Analytics & VAS : (Steering of Roaming, Campaign Management, Anti-Steering Detection, Home Environment Services)

 

Specific skills

  • Basic financial knowledge for the position
  • Strong IT skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Salesforce
  • Ability to deliver effective customer presentations

 

Experience

  • Commercial experience in a similar position of more than 5 years.
  • Previous professional experience selling the above services from any reference provider in the industry will be highly valued.

 

Languages

  • ENGLISH - oral and written at a high level
  • SPANISH - Basico or Intermediate

The position, in addition to Miami, will be open in other locations such as in other cities in the USA, Mexico, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany and France.
