iOS Software Engineer - TALENT HUNTERS

Telefonica CTO-Novum is seeking talented engineers to join our Engineering team. The challenges faced every day in extending and improving the Telefonica user experience require vast knowledge in how to produce highly maintainable and extensible object-oriented code. Our engineers must feel the need to build a product that works fast and flawlessly, be passionate about eliminating any problems as soon as they are discovered and take pride in doing so. 

The CTO-Novum group builds and operates the main application for Telefónica customers worldwide reaching more than 30 million active users. We work to build new and innovative products and to ease the access to all the services that Telefónica offers. 


Our mission is to guide our customers along their lifecycle, by being the center of the digital relationship with Telefónica 



  • Primary responsibility for coding, delivering and updating Telefónica in-house developed mobile applications. 

  • Design and implement new user-facing features in Telefónica's large, complex mobile applications. Work closely with our product and design teams to customize the apps experience for the iOS platform  

  • End-to-end responsibility for in-house applications from coding to deployment (including porting, spec adherence, technical design, test plan creation, deployment support, code reviewing) 


  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)  



  • Leadership skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a wide variety of departments. We work in an agile environment, where collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. You must be strong at communicating clearly and effectively.   

  • Ability to provide input on prioritization of features with a strong sense of user driven design.  

  • Ability to work independently, set timelines and execute to plan.  

  • Interest and ability to learn other programming languages as needed.  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 



  • Experience coding iOS applications being comfortable with Swift and have extensive knowledge of modern mobile software design patterns (MVVM, MVP, TCA, etc).  

  • Experience leveraging modern iOS paradigms/tools (Xcode, performance tools, build tools, optimization techniques and internal frameworks) 

  • Interest in and/or experience with SwiftUI. 

  • Experience with multithreading programming.  

  • Experience writing simple and clean code, unit tests and more important testable code.  

  • Ability to identify unique features of specific device capabilities and define appropriate UI and product requirements accordingly. 



  • 3+ years of experience 


  • English (professional competence)
