Customer Digital Product area is hiring a passionate User Research Lead that wants to join the product discovery and strategy definition of Telefónica main app in 4 countries. Our mission is to drive digitalization to Telefónica clients, leveraging from our customer preferred channel and proven digital platform. 

As a Lead UX Researcher, you'll be responsible for leading and executing research that generates a deep understanding of users to inform product and service development. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, leading the design and implementation of qualitative and quantitative studies. In addition, you will be the focal point for integrating user research best practices and promoting a user-centric culture within the organization. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute high-impact user research that addresses key user needs and challenges. 
  • Lead the development and implementation of research strategies, suggesting appropriate approaches and methodologies to gain valuable insights into users. 
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative studies, including interviews, focus groups, user tests, workshops, surveys and data analysis. 
  • Collaborate closely with product design, development, and management teams to translate research findings into practical, user-centric solutions. 
  • Effectively communicate research findings to different audiences, including internal teams and external stakeholders. 
  • Mentor and support other user researchers within the team, fostering professional growth and skill development. 

 

Required Skills: 

  • Demonstrated experience in leading user research in agile environments. 
  • In-depth knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative user research methods and techniques. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights. 
  • Experience using tools such as UserZoom, Miro, Figma, Jira, and Confluence for research and team collaboration. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and collaborative team environment. 
  • Results-oriented and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. 
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet proposed deadlines.

  • Critical thinking and the ability to question assumptions and seek innovative solutions.

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's or university degree in related areas, such as Psychology, Sociology, Design, or similar fields. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in user research, preferably in leadership roles. 
  • Additional certifications or trainings in user research methodologies are a plus
