Area description 

Belonging to the Strategy and Governance area and supporting globally the Multinationals segment within Telefonica group as part of TGS. We serve the top Telefonica customers in our footprint, collaborating with all OBs and other business units in the group.

 

Mission 

Tracking and analysis of business KPIs to support Exec Management to make data driven decisions. Also translate strategic plans into clear metrics to drive desired behaviour and achievement of KPI.

 

This role must ensure that all global and local teams work together as an aligned and joined up unit:

  • Leadership to wider virtual team to share and implement best practices 

  • Stakeholder management and point of contact for revenues governance related tasks from commercial point of view at account and commercial region level

 

Main activities & responsabilities

  • Reporting into the Head of Commercial Planning, this role will have responsibility and ownership for the following tasks across our commercial regions

    1. Creating & producing reporting and business intelligence relating to global revenue, activity and performance for MNCs sales areas in coordination with global process

    2. global revenue targeting and forecasting process for MNCs,  in coordination with global process

    3. Creation and delivery of exec board packs for MNCs

    4. Various data analysis to support the needs of MNC’s, corporate

    5. Payplan and commission support and communication packs

    6. Segmentation support

  • Lead and build real time SF.com dashboards that accurately reflect sales activity and lead indicators. Ensure core data is accurate and fully aligned to defined governance rules

  • Support MNCs leadership team with bespoke analysis and insight that drives performance of targets and KPI

  • Provide support and impartial guidance using analysis, context and messaging

  • Lead negotiations for support requirements and agree a standard approach across all teams

  • Lead process improvements and efficiencies within team and across virtual teams.

  • Ensure business critical processes are fully documented with contingency in place.

  • Ensure process BAU tasks are efficient and kept to a minimum to ensure best use of time is spent on tasks of maximum benefit to stakeholders.

  • Working under high levels of pressure and efficiency

  • Consolidating various data sources to align into common formats

  • Creating clear messaging out of complex analysis, enabling quick and easy action and decision

  • Manage key relationships with stakeholders and virtual teams to ensure an aligned and mutually beneficial working relationship. 

 

Required academic background

Degree Economics, Engineer or IT(with sales/marketing interest) or equivalent

 

Specific skills

  • Excellent Analytical skills combined with a common-sense commercial view.

  • Analytical experience gained within a sales environment over a number of years, with ability to capture, understand, and analyze complex data.

  • Global view

  • Manage complexity and pressure.

 

Technical knowledge

  • Demonstrable track record for delivering dashboards and performance reporting, with a view to extract and communicate clear messages to stakeholders.  

  • Strong understanding of CRM systems (including SF.com) and database management (including Excel, MS Access, Tableau, Microstrategy...).  Knowledge of knowing which tool is appropriate for a given task.

 

Professional experience

  • High degree of commercial acumen, with a strong knowledge of corporate and MNC markets in Latam and Europe.

  • Presentation skills and ability to communicate complex messages in a clear way.

  • Demonstrable track record for building and cultivating strong business relationships with sales teams, senior leaders, and key operational teams.

  • Experience people manager with ability to motivate and help other fulfil their potential.

  • Experience working across cultures and ability to adapt style and approach accordingly.

  • Ability to influence and negotiate at any level, adapting messaging as required.

  • Self-motivated with a proven drive and tenacity.

  • Demonstrated 1-2 year experience in a similar role

 

Languages

  • Mandatory: English and Spanish: fluent (C1)

  • Valuable: Portuguese, German, French​​​​​​​
