The Sales Consulting area is the cross-sectional area of the Commercial Directorate and is responsible for supporting the business development team in the specialist pre-sale and in generating offers from Telefónica Tech IoT & BD.

The main activity of the position will be the preparation of offers to Telefónica clients in the Internet of Things (IoT) environment, for them it is important that the candidate has technical skills to become a high connoisseur of the products, both their own and of third parties that, from the IoT area, we commercialize both in Spain and in the rest of the countries of the Telefónica footprint.




Preparation of both technical and economic proposals based on IoT solutions from the integration of own and third party products and services.

Technical advice to new and existing clients of IoT solutions in Spain and International and capture of needs and requirements that allow the elaboration of the technical and economic proposal.

Respond to technical specifications prepared by the end customer (RFI, RFQ, RFP).

Evaluation of operating models to ensure the correct deployment of the solution.

Technical support to the sales team in the business development of all IoT services.

Defense of the technical and economic proposal to different internal and external areas of the organization.

Direct contact with suppliers to define the solution and request and negotiate quotes.

Carrying out business cases for the proposal, ensuring the economic viability of the solution.

Report in commercial tools (i.e. Salesforce) of the activity carried out and the offers to clients.

Manage those suppliers that are part of the company's value proposition.

Management and preparation of offers to clients based on requirements received.

Handling complex solutions that require the development of technical capabilities in continuous evolution.

Support to the commercial and client areas, if necessary.

Coordination with multiple teams inside and outside the organization (Commercial, specialist sales, product areas, finance ...).





Knowledge about IoT solutions.



Knowledge of the market for mobility solutions and asset tracking.

Knowledge of measurement and telemetry solutions focused on energy efficiency (e.g. Smarkia).

Knowledge of Smart Meetering.

Knowledge of Smart Cities solutions.




Analytical capabilities

Commercial skills, desire to learn, good disposition, proactivity and teamwork.




Experience + 2 years in IoT environment

Experience in pre-sale activities: preparation of offers, relationship with customers and suppliers




Essential: Spanish (Native or Bilingual) and English (B2 -C1)
