Area Description

The TGS Business Development team is responsible for accelerating the sales of all Telefónica Products to the Top 160 MNC accounts and specially the TGS portfolio into all enterprises that require a multinational service. We are a cross organizational unit reporting into the Global Director of Multinationals and that provides support to all the different Sales Units across the group. Our responsibilities are to help our customers to accelerate their digital transformational projects, developing the relationship with partners (technological and consultative), launching different commercial initiatives, and providing support to all the transformational deals of the multinational unit. To do this, we are organized based on expertise in different technologies and regions, we have defined a consultative sales methodology and a digital plan levering on our main partners. We are continuously challenging the group to incorporate new solutions and partners, and we are fostering knowledge within the unit sharing the best success cases and technologies.

 

Mission

As Partner Business Development Manager with focus on the Go-To-Market activities of our key security partners you will be responsible for designing the strategy and agenda to accelerate business within our key technology, cloud and security partners and portfolio. With deep security technological knowledge and unparalleled business acumen, Partner GTM leaders are responsible to define and run specific Global GTM plans and being our reference in front of our customers.

You will develop strong relationships with MNC customers and partners and with internal resources including Sales, Presales and Marketing in order to achieve your goals. You’ll be brought on board to penetrate a strategic account, develop business and establish personal presence at Executive level.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand customer's security and business needs, Telefónica a and TGS global portfolio and innovative partners solutions to build a 3-Horizon roadmap of our customers Digital and Security agenda. Expand current Telefónica relationships into a strategic and long-term partnerships
  • Identify and select key and strategic partners to run a global acceleration plan that includes executive engagement, a sales enablement program and internal and external communication and awareness
  • ​Help our customers to understand the impact of the emerging technology, cloud and security technologies and inspire them for Telefónica and TGS services
  • Create long-term strategy which links partners, customers and TGS portfolio
  • Lead security sales activities to drive the digital transformation vision and roadmap of our customers with Telefónica and TGS solutions.
  • Ability to coordinate and bring together all the right Telefónica parties to propose innovative solutions such as Sales Specialists, Presales and Product teams, transmitting the customer’s needs inside the organization
  • Own and strengthen the relations with C-level technology and innovation executives in our customer’s business units
  • Host events, participate as a speaker in global meetings and be a reference in the group in security products and partner knowledge

 

Education Required

  • Engineering MSc (Telecommunications, Computer Science or Information Technology preferred) AND Business Economic degree, MBA or Master in Digital Transformation
  • Demonstrated experience in technical/business consulting or technical consultative selling
  • Knowledge of main security partners such as Microsoft, Zoom, Palo Alto, ZScaler, Netskope, Fortinet, Cisco, Checkpoint, McAfee among others

 

Specific Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in digital transformation or using technology to drive customer business outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in Technology, Cloud and Security product and services selling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, self-confidence and effective interpersonal skills
  • Experience with multinational markets

 

Technical Knowledge

  • Deep knowledge of communication services, telecom, Cloud, Sdwan and Security services

 

Professional Experience

  • 3+ years of business development or sales experience in security and IT sector
  • Proven experience managing "Fortune 500" Global Accounts worldwide

 

Languages

  • Multi-lingual Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Portuguese, German or French is an important plus
