    Mission:

 

  • Telefónica Infra manages a portfolio of companies across different infrastructure asset categories, in partnership vehicles together with TEF OBs and financial investors.
  • Its objectives include crystallizing the value of Telefónica’s infrastructure assets and know-how and helping to improve TEF OBs’ competitive position, partnering with leading financial investors to co-invest in growth opportunities involving flexible partnership structures and business models.

 

     Main duties & responsibilities

 

  • Preparation or support of presentations for different forums (BoD, commissions, alliance meetings, offsites, CMD...) to ensure that a coherent vision of TEF Infra is presented with reliable data.
    • Presentations on TEF Infra positioning, set/achieved objectives, milestones, portfolio vision, main magnitudes, etc.
    • TEF Infra Budget/Strategic Plan presentations, including market outlook, strategic priorities, and summary of operational and financial indicators.
    • Ad-hoc presentations for external forums (eg Alliance partners) or internal forums (offsites, Meetings).
  • Monitor portfolio companies’ performance/project, review business plan and models, prepare reports and presentations.
  • Oversight the monthly Management Dashboard (PowerBI) of T-Infra's JVs introducing changes and aligning the dashboard with T. Infra portfolio and reporting needs.
  • Follow market trends related to TEF infrastructure and to the universe of infrastructure players and investors.

 

Skills & qualifications:

 

  • University degree in Telecom, Industrial engineering or finance.
  • Broad knowledge of Telco Sector. Understanding of technology behind telco / infra and new business models / platforms will be valued.
  • General financial knowledge.

  • Analytical skills with global and business perspective, applying global vision and criteria to conceptualize and synthesize complex information.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, including producing internal presentations to TEF top management / decision bodies, and external presentations to the market.
  • Teamplayer & skills to work in virtual teams.
  • Pro-active and results oriented mindset, strongly commitment, open minded and eager to learn
  • Flexibility to work under pressure and to adapt to changes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI working proficiency, solid modelling skills and experience crafting impactful presentations

 

     Professional Experience

 

  • >4 years of experience in Telco sector / Management Consulting / strategy area / investment banking. Background in operating/technical/financial roles within telco sector will be valued.
  • Desirable interest for new technologies and telco market activity.

 

     Languages:

 

  • English – strong skills, spoken and written working proficiency.
  • Spanish – fluent.
