AREA DESCRIPTION:

The Supply Engineering area belongs to the Global Delivery group and its main objective is to provide technical support for the deployment of services for the Telefonica Internacional client portfolio. This department is the client's representative to solve with the other technical teams of the organization and suppliers all the needs to be satisfied from the acceptance of offers to the production of the customers services.

 

MISSION:

Understand and validate different technical solutions within the scope VPN-MPLS, Internet, SDWAN, Ethernet, WAN2CLOUD, LAN and WirelessLAN. Lv2 technical support for the delivery and troubleshooting of the mentioned services. Proactive and reactive training to improve the capacity of technicians.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical validations

  • Technical validation for complex technical solutions, ensuring that everything is designed correctly and that all the necessary information is available.

Technical support level 2

  • Technical support for the implementation of customer solutions.
  • Technical point of contact with our suppliers when trying to identify delivery problems.

Training

  • Identify and train the main areas where the level 1 team should work to improve the success rate in implementation work.
  • Technical and procedural feedback to other teams to improve the success rate and duration of the installation.
  • Preparation of client equipment configuration with the service functionalities requested by it according to the standards and/or technical projects defined in the engineering phase.
  • Prepares technical Implementation Procedures (PINs) and evaluates technical changes with risk or non-standard.
  • Updates the LLDs of the service.

 

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Networks and Systems or related.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

Experience in the technical provision of network services. General knowledge of technical solutions, processes and systems of international supply.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years in technical work, network configuration, troubleshooting, engineering SDWAN, MPLS VPN, E-line, LAN Services. Knowledge technology Cisco, Juniper, Meraki, Fortinet and etc.

 

LANGUAGES:

  • English  - working  proficiency
  • Spanish - working  proficiency

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Desired certifications:
  • Cisco - CCNA or CCNP
  • Juniper - JNCIA
  • Fortinet - NSE
