Market analyst - Telefonica Global Roaming

The mission of this area is to understand the behavior of the international roaming market in the medium and long term, evaluate and analyze the positioning of TGR, propose the strategies to be followed and partnerships to be established and be the responsible of its implementation. As a result, this area will design and own the strategic priorities, ensuring the implementation and achievement of the corresponding project plans supporting the consecution of the business priorities.

Academic Qualifications: Economic, business or engineering background.       

Your Mission:

Telefónica Global Roaming (TGR) develops the international wholesale roaming business on behalf of all Telefónica Affiliates globally, covering brands like o2, Movistar and VIVO.

The Market Intelligence & B2B team in specific is responsible:

• Manage the business relationship with TGR stakeholders such as TTech, TGS or Corporate areas.
• Represent all these stakeholders in the annual processes carried out by TGR such as wholesale roaming negotiations, monthly reporting, budget and strategic planning among others.
• Forecast and manage the impact of new technologies such as eSIM, 5G or IoT on the wholesale roaming business.
• Manage the IMSI donor agreements. Alignment on long term strategy, commercial negotiations and contract management.
• Represents TGR in relevant industry forums such as WAS.

Some of your tasks would be:

• Manage the relationship between TGR and TTech and TGS. Including, day-to-day business requirements, forecasting, budgeting and long-term planning.
• Manage the IoT business within TGR, so, identify the needs of TGR stakeholders and translate them to TGR’s business.
• Support on adhoc projects within the area.
• Prepare and present comprehensive analyses on these topics.

• MS Office, Tableau (or willingness to learn by doing).
