DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA

 

The Sales Consulting area is the cross-sectional area of ​​the Commercial Management and is responsible for the specialist support to the business development team and generation of commercial offers of Telefonica Tech IoT & BD

 

MISSION

 

The scope of the role focuses on Big Data solutions, Advanced Analytics, Data exploitation and commercialization, development of data governance adoption programs in companies

The profile of the clients will be interlocutors with experience in the disciplines previously described from the technical and organizational point of view in their companies. With high frequency these interlocutors have an executive profile with decision-making capacity in their organizations.

One of the main areas of commercial activity of the candidate will be the Public Administrations. In a special way, within this segment, the needs of clients and interlocutors range from initial advice, conceptualization of the ecosystem of solutions adapted to the client's case and response to public purchasing processes.

In the realm of private organizations, companies will often be large companies. Another group of companies will be SMEs with high turnover and / or with great dependence on data-based solutions.

 

MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Consultative sale of Big Data, Advanced Analytics, AI and data solutions in the previously exposed segments

Lead response to complex purchasing processes in public and private spheres

Design, organize and materialize business consortia to meet the specific needs of public and private clients

Work together with the operations team to build the technical and operational proposal

Realization of technical-commercial offers of Big Data solutions, Advanced Analytics, AI and data: Construction of the business case and pricing strategy, preparation of project planning, preparation of technical and economic materials, etc.

Defense of proposals in front of clients

Generation of relationships with partners of the Big Data ecosystem that can complement Telefónica's capabilities

 

CHALLENGES OF THE AREA

 

Manage complex purchase processes with a high ticket (<€ 2M) and multiple technological solutions

Know different market solutions in the field of Big Data, Advanced Analytics, AI and data

Work oriented to objectives with defined goals in short periods

Form and lead "task force teams" oriented to the delivery of proposals to clients

Deal with complex clients and be able to generate a relationship of trust in the proposed solutions

Criterion when building consortiums with other companies at the strategic, technical and economic level

 

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

 

ESSENTIAL:

Demonstrable Big Data knowledge

DESIRABLE:

Agile / Scrum Certification

VALUABLE:

Knowledge of specific solutions in the Big Data field

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

 

Knowledge of market positioning (prices, value proposition ...) of market solutions in the field of Big Data, Advanced Analytics, AI and data

Criterion when selecting professional profiles within the usual roles in the Big Data ecosystem

Knowledge of purchasing dynamics in the Public Administration sector

Knowledge of how the documents associated with purchasing processes of Public Administrations are structured

Knowledge of the criteria for the award of public documents

Knowledge in the execution of consulting projects and Big Data infrastructure

 

REQUIRED SKILLS

 

Candidate with great capacity for self-motivation and demanding with himself

Used to working with demanding goals in a short space of time

Ability to empathize with customers and partners

High organizational capacities

 

ACADEMIC TRAINING

 

ESSENTIAL:

Preferably Telecommunications, Computer Science or Industrial Engineering.

Master related to the Big Data field.

Agile / Scrum Training

 

VALUABLE:

Certifications in Big Data market solutions

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 

Consulting experience in the Big Data field

Experience developing technical and economic offers of consulting services and Big Data infrastructure in the public sector

Frontline experience with public clients

Experience in the implementation and deployment of consulting projects and Big Data infrastructure

Experience in creating sectoral value propositions in the Big Data field

 

LANGUAGES:

 

English: Medium - High level

Spanish: Native or Advanced.
