As a Global Talent Partner, your mission is to strengthen and future-proof Telefónica’s leadership bench by building a solid and diverse pipeline of talent — across gender, age, experiences, and capabilities — to reinforce our competitive advantage.

You will play a strategic role in connecting succession planning, executive mobility, and critical leadership hiring to drive business success.

Collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, operating businesses (OBs), and People teams globally, you will design, implement, and track talent strategies that deliver business impact, enable leadership renewal, and build a future-ready organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Engage top talent (internal and external) for critical leadership roles, fostering diversity in gender, age, experiences, and capabilities.
  • Connect and coordinate globally succession planning, talent mobility, and critical executive vacancies to enable proactive talent moves, close the capability gaps, and ensure consistent, future-focused leadership decisions across the Group.
  • Lead the executive mobility initiative across the Group as a strategic lever for leadership development and business impact, managing the Talent Brokers network to proactively unlock opportunities and accelerate internal moves.
  • Assess and manage succession plans, identifying risks and gaps, and driving targeted action plans.
  • Coordinate talent communities and initiatives to accelerate the development, visibility, and deployment of talent at scale.
  • Design and prototype skills-based selection processes to strengthen leadership hiring and capability building.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Global Talent team and business units, ensuring alignment, transparency, and impact on talent priorities.

 

Required experience

  • 10+ years of experience in fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environments. Consulting background (top-tier, specialized in Executive Search and/or Leadership Advisory) is highly valued.
  • Strong expertise in designing and leading end-to-end talent initiatives (leadership hiring, talent assessment, succession planning, executive mobility etc.).
  • Solid understanding of market dynamics and leadership profiles. Deep understanding of the global talent landscape.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large-scale, transformational talent programs with measurable business impact and strong exposure to people strategy and capability-building initiatives.

  • Fluent Spanish and English speaker essential for this role.
