The Team

The Business Development team for MNCs is responsible for accelerating the sales of all Telefónica Products to the Top 400 MNC accounts. We are a cross organization that belongs to the Commercial Development Unit and that provides support to all the different MNCs Sales Units around the group. Our responsibilities are to lead the Digital Acceleration Plan, develop the relationship with partners (technological and consultative), launch different commercial campaigns and provide support to all the transformational deals of the MNC unit. To do that, we have different a Global Sales Specialists team who brings the expertise of the different digital products and we are generating new innovative Digital Transformational pitches using our own consultative sales approach. Additionally, we are continuously challenging the group to incorporate new sales initiatives such as the Industry MNC Communities which are fostering the knowledge sharing among the MNC team.

 

Role

As Global Sales Specialists for Cloud and SDWAN services you will be responsible of providing support to all the Sales Managers and Global Account Managers to accelerate business in this specific products in all regions. You will be responsible to set up and agree a plan with the global products teams and the different regions, execute this plan and define correction activities to reach the targets. Campaign definitions, technological partner identification and promotion will be in the center of your activity. You will be the reference for these services for the whole MNC Unit and the ambassador of us within the Global Product teams. Additionally, as a member of the team, you will be responsible to develop new digital pitches and share knowledge and experience through the Industry MNC Communities. You will develop strong relationships with MNCs customers and partners and with internal resources including Sales, Presales, Product Marketing, Legal and Service Management in order to achieve your goals. You’ll be brought on board to penetrate a strategic account, develop business and establish personal presence at the executive level.

• Ability to drive opportunities – “Take the lead and drive the customer”
• Uncover customer opportunities and build a plan to convince them to “win” with our brand
• Generate proposals with a customer focus and showing expertise on SDWAN and Cloud services
• Excellent customer communication and interpersonal skills
• Aggressive pursuit of new opportunities
• Ability to define a business plan, track its execution and define corrective actions if needed 
• Achieves assigned sales quota and collaborate with the MNC Unit to reach their targets
• Ability to coordinate and bring together all the right Telefonica parties to propose innovative solutions such as Presales and Product teams
• Being able to transform necessities in opportunities
• Transmitting the customer’s needs inside the organization
• Lead and work with a virtual team across the globe
• Host events, participate as a speaker in global meetings and being a reference in the group in SDWAN and Cloud services 
 

 

Technological Knowledge

• Consultative Selling
• Excellent written and verbal communication, self- confidence and effective interpersonal skills
• Experience with multinational markets

• Deep knowledge of SDWAN and Cloud services technically and market awareness

 

Experience

• 10+ years working with SDWAN and Cloud services
• Proven experience managing "Fortune 500" Global Accounts worldwide being customer faced

 

Languages & Education

Enginering MSc (Telecommunications or Electronics preferred)
MBA

English and Spanish mandatory.
