What to expect

As a Product Owner, you play a central role within our internal team, supporting the entire Technology department on their journey through the digital age. Your expertise in current approaches in agile software development and the deployment of redundant and high-performance applications in cloud and kubernetes environments enables you to provide internal software development teams with the tools to create efficient CI/CD pipelines. With your experience, you significantly contribute to the establishment and stabilization of these processes and tools, together with our strong partners. Bring your skills to the table and be a crucial part of our digital transformation!

 

Key aspects of the role include:

  •  #Tool Portfolio Management: Responsible for the selection, implementation, planning, maintenance, and continuous development of the tools needed for the #CI/CD pipeline and support of #DevOps processes. This specifically includes central tool support for #Continuous Integration, #Continuous Testing, and #Continuous Deployment for all developer teams. The focus is also on total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and future-oriented alignment
  • #Project Management: Taking on technical project leadership in close collaboration with license management, infrastructure teams, and cloud providers
  • #Decision Making: Evaluating the benefits, feasibility, and impacts of new requirements, as well as creating decision templates and status reports
  •  #Knowledge Transfer: Conducting mentoring, training to ensure adequate know-how for all tool users within the #SSDLC framework
  • #Architecture: Conceptual and technical development to increase automation
  • #Process Optimization: Implementing measures for continuous quality improvement, idea development, early problem detection, and coordination of process solutions

 

What you bring:

  • #Entrepreneurial Thinking: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner and/or Scrum Master in international teams with a demonstrable track record in entrepreneurial terms, e.g., in introducing new products or optimizing business processes. You are able to make strategic decisions and drive innovative approaches
  • Experience in administering software development tools such as #Jira, #Confluence, #GitLab, #Nexus, XL Release, XL Deploy, Splunk, and #Elastic, as well as sound knowledge of Quality Management Tools such as #Sonar, Kiuwan, TOSCA, and Acunetix
  • Knowledge of #Continuous Integration and agile methods such as SAFE, LESS, SCRUM, and Kanban
  • Solid knowledge within the common cloud platforms #AWS, Google, and Azure
  • Demonstrable experience in #Project Management and the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (#SSDLC)
  • #English language skills at least at C2 level, German language skill at B2 desirable
