Description of Department / Team 

With the newly founded "Business Solutions" unit of our O2 Telefónica business customer area (B2B), we will offer even more specialized solutions for business customers in the areas of cloud & security (incl.SD-WAN), IoT and private 5G (campus networks). 

Our offerings range from standardized products to tailor-made solutions for our customers in the medium-sized and large customer segment. Our focus here is on new, innovative topics and modern approaches, which allow us to interact even more closely with customers and become an integral part of your digital business transformation. As a pioneer in the field of 5G as well as IoT, we are particularly proud to be able to advise, deliver and implement future-oriented solutions. 

 

Our "Business Solutions” unit is therefore set up as an integrated segment within our business customer area with close connections to all other relevant units and selected technology and product partners.

Tasks 

  • Development and implementation of pricing strategy and standards appropriate to market setting 

  • Calculation and review of cross-portfolio profitability of customer offers (new and existing customers) of direct and indirect sales in the B2B Business Solutions area based on financial modelling & business cases 

  • Complete, individual processing of individual pricings for business customers of all segments 

  • Proactive pricing and proposal advice to sales teams 

  • C-level presentation & discussion-leading of pricing, business cases and resulting customer recommendations 

  • Monitoring of the pricing process, e.g. data collection and evaluation of key figures on the pricing process with the aim of improving quality and accelerating the process 

  • Continuous analysis of client proposals and solutions for optimized pricing strategy 

  • Management of interfaces and of pricing process with other involved Telefónica teams 

  • Commercial qualification of changing customer requirements and business environment 

 

Candidate Requirements 

  • 5+ years of experience in commercially driven, sales-oriented environments (strategy sales, business solution sales, sales controlling etc.), ideally in B2B/Telecommunications/IT/Tech industry with proven track record 

  • Strong knowledge in pricing strategies and data-driven work modes 

  • Knowledge in related fields such as sales, finance, data analysis, technology, or product management 

  • Understanding of our technologies and their value-add proposition to customers (focus on SD-WAN, Cloud & Security; (p)5G; IoT) 

  • High affinity for numbers paired with great analytical and conceptual skills 

  • Above-average communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills up to C-level 

  • Project management and team player skills 

  • Academic background in the fields of economics, business administration, engineering or comparable  

  • IT & software skills (e.g. Salesforce) are a plus 

  • Professional proficiency of English and German
