What to expect

  • Development and implementation of pricing strategy and standards appropriate to market setting 
  • Calculation and review of cross-portfolio profitability of customer offers (new and existing customers) of direct and indirect sales in the B2B Business Solutions area based on financial modelling & business cases 
  • Complete, individual processing of individual pricings for business customers of all segments 
  • Proactive pricing and proposal advice to sales teams 
  • C-level presentation & discussion-leading of pricing, business cases and resulting customer recommendations 
  • Monitoring of the pricing process, e.g. data collection and evaluation of key figures on the pricing process with the aim of improving quality and accelerating the process 
  • Continuous analysis of client proposals and solutions for optimized pricing strategy 
  • Management of interfaces and of pricing process with other involved Telefónica teams 
  • Commercial qualification of changing customer requirements and business environment

 

What you bring 

  • 5+ years of experience in commercially driven, sales-oriented environments (strategy sales, business solution sales, sales controlling etc.), ideally in B2B/Telecommunications/IT/Tech industry with proven track record 
  • Strong knowledge in pricing strategies and data-driven work modes 
  • Knowledge in related fields such as sales, finance, data analysis, technology, or product management 
  • Understanding of our technologies and their value-add proposition to customers (focus on SD-WAN, Cloud & Security; (p)5G; IoT) 
  • High affinity for numbers paired with great analytical and conceptual skills 
  • Above-average communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills up to C-level 
  • Project management and team player skills 
  • Academic background in the fields of economics, business administration, engineering or comparable  
  • IT & software skills (e.g. Salesforce) are a plus 
  • Professional proficiency of English and German
