In your day to day it will be usual to face tasks of the following type:

  • Responsible for the functions of presales security specialist engineer, within a Telefonica Cloud and Cyber Tech
  • Lead the writing and construction of the offer to the final customer.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to the sales team throughout the sales lifecycle
  • Manage Cybersecurity opportunities throughout their lifecycle
  • Become a SME of Telefonica’s cybersecurity solutions and services
  • Engage proactively in lead generation and sales hunting activities through digital channels, social networks and participation in relevant industry events
  • Develop partner relationships with the purpose of enhancing the standard offering and value proposition
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, and provide expert advice on the design of IT solutions
  • Manage client demands and expectations from a technical point of view.
  • Collaborate with Global and Local Marketing in the definition and execution of commercial plans, lead generation and market communication activities
  • Work with priority, multinational and local accounts sales teams to support the commercial processes, with focus on the client technical needs and taking part in technical solution definition.
  • Gather most of the technical knowledge from a sales perspective, sharing and training the commercial support team in technical knowledge.
  • Engage proactively with the Global Cybersecurity areas (product development, business development, sales specialists operations) to ensure the client demands are met.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to prepare product training sessions for local sales, presales and engineering teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with all appropriate areas and business functions.
  • Keep up to date with Cybersecurity technologies and industry trends
  • Delivery against defined and agreed sales targets milestones, KPI’s & achievement of Financial Metrics; revenue and profitability



  • Strong knowledge of the Cybersecurity industry, value chain, market, players and ecosystems in Germany   
  • Experience in similar positions and proven track record at developing business opportunities in the Cybersecurity space
  • Experience in information security management
  • Experience in dealing and managing global solution for companies with global coverage.
  • Experience working in a professional corporate environment, B2B and B2B2C sector with good knowledge of the Cybersecurity market in Germany.
  • Typically requires at least a BS/CS degree.
  • MBA or MSC desired.
  • Relevant industry certifications desired.
