What are your challenges with us?

  • Disciplinary and technical leadership of the Connected Services DevOps team
  • Further development the team and each individual of the team, considering agile working methods
  • Transforming existing telecommunications applications to public cloud environments and to adapt its operational model accordingly
  • Implementation of system related projects in cross-functional teams
  • Creation of application designs, service / high level designs and system documentation as part of new tenders, projects and during operation
  • Management and development of service partners and system / solution providers
  • Creation of strategic decision papers and actively driving the decision-making process, involving the middle and upper management team
  • Drive the further development of owned solutions, systems / applications and processes, putting in the center the customer needs, costs, time2market and quality
  • Ensuring high-class service quality for our end customers and for the services and applications responsible for
  • Develop and usage of key performance indicators to further develop the DevOps groups and services

 

What are you bringing?

  • Completed university degree or comparable in information processing, communications engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in IT or Telecommunications or comparable areas from different industry verticals
  • Profound knowledge in developing high performance teams and employees, with an experience of at least 5 years in directly managing diverse teams
  • Knowledge about solution development and application engineering from a technology management point of view
  • Skilled and trained, ideally certified, in at least one of the established agile working methods
  • Advanced knowledge with certification of cloud environment (experience in containerization and orchestration is preferred). Ideally provides best practices of application to cloud transformation from former engagements.
  • Structured, independent and result-oriented way of working with a high level of initiative
  • Strong team orientation, motivation and organizational skills
  • Advanced experience in (organizational) change management and guidance through strategic decisions
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills in English and German
