What are your challenges with us?

  • Leadership of the end to end strategic intelligence cycle: intelligence collection; intelligence assimilation/assessment; intelligence dissemination; threat response.
  • Building strategic level intelligence relationships with Internal Telefonica OB´s and external communities and partner organisations.
  • Building Telefonica Germany strategic cyber threat landscape and its regular briefing up to Telefonica board level.
  • The creation of strategic threat response plans in order to mitigate Telefonica Germany most serious cyber threats.
  • Build process improvements to improve Threat Intel KPIs
  • Operate outside normal office hours if and being on call as necessary


What are you bringing?

  • Master Degree in Cyber Security, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience acceptable within Cyber Threat intel
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering and/or architecture, security operations
  • 4+ years’ experience in setup of a threat Intel organization and capabilities for a large corporation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity-related regulations
  • Deep technical expertise in cyber threats, crisis management  and Threat intel.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-level information systems and technology architectures, expertise in network security, cryptography, virtualization and cloud security.
  • A solid understanding of ISO2700X and ITIL.
  • Familiarity with risk management and controls frameworks, cyber kill chain and SANS Incident Handling lifecycle
  • Significant experience in the Intelligence field.  Able to demonstrate the creation of strategic cyber threat landscapes and enterprise level response plans.
  • Leadership of the end to end Intelligence Cycle and supporting processes.
  • Building and maintaining trusted strategic level intelligence relationships.
  • Strong track record of managing performance to deliver against challenging KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Fluent in English is a must and good command of German is a plus
