About the team: Within Telefónica Germany, we continue to develop the IT systems in various agile teams and thus build the applications to enable the communication of tomorrow. You will work in a team that takes care of the applications for the provision and management of communication connections. We are currently transforming our applications into "cloud native" and microservice-based applications. At the same time, we are converting our development to an agile process. New requirements are implemented in sprints using agile methods. We also focus on constantly increasing the CI/CD level and automation.


What are your challenges with us?

  • You are responsible for a uniform integration architecture for all applications within the department
  • You ensure structured documentation of the interfaces
  • You develop and optimize a general test strategy and set the standards for testing integration and interfaces, e.g. contract testing, with a special focus on the integration test.
  • Independent and responsible creation and presentation of summaries (e.g. achievements, status, deep dives, ...), decision proposals and lessons learned for senior management
  • Independent technical steering for suppliers & partners, control and guidance of external and internal employees
  • Close cooperation with other development and operational areas as well as the business areas throughout the company in an international context
  • Optimization of existing processes and development of new solutions
  • Takes responsibility for milestones and goals
  • Living and ensuring a driver mentality and ownership in projects
  • Activity is fundamentally independent, including stakeholder management
  • Only coordinates results or particularly critical content with the supervisor


What are you bringing?

  • University degree or comparable in the field of computer science, communication technology or similar
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of cloud native / microservices integration and integration testing (desirable in the field of telecommunications)
  • Detailed knowledge of the design and optimization of the integration of applications and microservices as well as integration testing
  • Extensive knowledge of IT, ITIL, software development, software architecture
  • Very good knowledge of cloud-based applications and microservice architectures as well as databases in the cloud
  • Strong team orientation, ability to motivate and organizational skills
  • Structured, responsible and result-oriented way of working with a high level of initiative and very good negotiation and communication skills
  • A great willingness to learn, since our IT landscape is constantly evolving
  • Certification in one of the basic cloud technologies (AWS, Google) is an advantage
  • Business fluent English skills required, Good knowledge of German is an advantage
