What to expect

  • Qualification of tenders in cooperation with account managers and pre-sales engineers as well as joint design of customer offers 
  • Support for Account Management through analysis of customer requirements for product requirement alignment 
  • Independent development of hypotheses for solution development as well as projecting of national and international offers 
  • Steering of specialist departments for the creation of customer-oriented bids through professional project management and transparent, targeted project communication 
  • Support for escalations, approvals, and solution findings during ongoing tender processes 
  • Development of risk profiles and further factors of decision-making together with the relevant stakeholders as well as presentation and representation of decision recommendations in responsible committees 
  • Pro-active cooperation with central B2B Commercial Management teams to manage alignment with Approval Boards (OAB) anchored there 
  • Compliance with relevant bid process and corporate governance guidelines 
  • Pro-active development and implementation of measures to continuously optimize offer quality 

 

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in a comparable position, ideally B2B tender processes with proven track-record 
  • Deep understanding of requirements in the solution business for B2B customers 
  • Good technical understanding for digital products (ideally SD-WAN, Cloud & Security; (p)5G; IoT) and services within the telecommunications and digital business area 
  • Ability to build a broad and effective internal network and lead it in bid processes 
  • Understanding of business models, business cases and economic KPIs as well as excellent project, process and quality management 
  • High degree of accuracy, very good analytical skills, organizational talent and flexibility as well as negotiation and social skills 
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, assertive and pragmatic mindset paired with a creative drive and "Maker DNA"  
  • Ability to deliver maximum-quality work even in times of high intensity or time pressure 
  • Academic background or comparable training in business, economics, technologies etc. as well as experience in intercultural environments 
  • Professional proficiency of English and German
