Area description

International Services Area, within TIWS, is dedicated to promote the revenue growth and profitability of TIWS Retail products and Services. These services are commercialised through the Telefonica Group OBs or directly through the Multinational Customers Sales Area.


The main objective of the Sales Activation Manager is to promote the increase in sales and income of TIWS International Services through the customer Telefónica UK.




The person in charge of sales activation will identify growth opportunities for TIWS participation in business with Telefónica UK customers, and will interact with partners in the TIWS International Services area; will manage the commercial relationship with Telefónica UK; and will act proactively and reactively with the OBs to develop business, helping them in meetings with clients and supporting internal areas that such businesses require.


Main responsibilities

Activate sales through Telefónica UK and generate more business, with knowledge of the European and LATAM markets.

Influence the C-Level of Telefónica UK to promote projects in the TIWS International Services area.

Coordination of the relationship with Telefónica UK commercials, with participation in its commercial committees.

Responsible for the generation of funnel, sales and revenue of TIWS to Telefónica UK client.

Commercial accompaniment (visits to the end customer accompanying Telefónica UK commercials).

Relate with local TIWS partners and suppliers that are involved in activities with Telefónica UK (eg Cisco, Integrators, etc).

Provide internal feedback to TIWS on the market and Telefónica UK customer needs.



Nature of challenges

International environment. Work under pressure. Capacity for impact and influence at all levels of the Telefónica UK organization and its different areas (commercial, pre-sales, marketing, operations, etc). Develop a level of confidence to sell TIWS capabilities alongside business areas with access to customers.




Engineering or Business degree + MBA




+10 years of experience in sales management of complex projects with different levels of interlocutors in different organizations.

Work experience at Telefónica UK will be highly valued.

Experience with TIWS International Services.


Specific skills

High level of organization, motivation and independence.

Coordination of activities with local and central teams.

Highly commercial profile oriented to sales.

Relationship with C-Level.

Technical knowledge in international Network services, UCC, SDWAN, IoT and other services for TIWS corporations and carriers.




 - English advanced.

 - Spanish & German desirable.
