About the role:


You'll play an important role in the dynamic environment of Operations within the Market Development division. We are a key growth engine within VMO2 Business. Our purpose is to identify, develop and scale new customer solutions that deliver innovation and business value. You will monitor our teams’ functions, bring together teams across the business, build processes that meet our business needs and act as the glue that holds our business and commercial operations together. We are looking for hands-on problem solvers who are able to identify and create scalable solutions and lead teams to improve efficiency and ensure our business succeeds.

Market Development sits within Virgin Media O2 Business and is the team responsible for driving growth to the organisation by establishing new and digital-first revenue streams from high-growth markets like 5G, IoT, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. Key responsibilities


  • Collaborate with teams across Product, Sales, Product Engineering, and Operations to create project management practices that allow us to continue to move at pace whilst we scale
  • Proactively manage our transformation efforts by digitalising our operations and supporting us in scaling up the business by creating and re-designing new processes
  • Support teams in collecting relevant data from within the company and from internal clients in order to maintain our Single Source of the Truth
  • Work across a number of automation projects across the division to ensure we have the right level of understanding of all our commercial operations
  • Review the company's policies, procedures and functions to find areas for improvement
  • Creating databases for data storage and future access. Responsible for database and reporting tool communication.
  • Owning Operating Model transformation plans and communicating them to senior stakeholders
  • Tracking the progress of operational changes that are implemented across the company through key performance indicators
  • Manage communication between product, sales, and delivery teams providing comprehensive solutions that benefit all departments


Essential skills:


  • Proven experience in digital environments (e.g. using to-do list apps, cloud solutions to store documentation, task management (trello, clickup …) etc)
  • You have experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools (tableau, powerBI, pentaho ...) and feel comfortable using and interacting with them
  • You are inquisitive, proactive and have a curiosity to learn and improve.
  • Previous experience in high-performing environments like consulting, scale-ups or fast-paced businesses, banking or venture capital (desirable)
  • An excellent ability to drive complex and multi-stakeholder processes toward successful outcomes
  • You have excellent time-management skills
