About the Team

 

As part of the Online, Stores and Supply Chain team, reporting to a Supply Manager the team are responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience and commercial performance across our Stores  estate (Company owned and Franchised),  Online platforms and Supply Chain including Smart Metering. 
 
Across the team there is also responsibility for £2bn working capital expenditure and £40m operational expenditure p.a.

 

The Inventory Supply Support works closely alongside the Inventory Supply Planners, Demand Planners and Service managers ensuring the business has the right product in the right place at the right time balanced with efficient use of the company's cash along with ensuring we work with our Supply Chain suppliers and partners to provide great customer experiences associated with stock purchase.

 

About the Role

 

The role holder is responsible for supporting with administrative tasks and managing some aspects of stock supply into the warehouse & stores for selected vendors (non-high profile vendors) ensuring availability across all channels including MNVO to the customers, whilst optimizing working capital tied up in stock. 

 

The role is responsible for managing the day to day tasks and processes in a critical part of Inventory and Service Management teams including database and system administration tasks and other administrative and reporting support required the team. 

 

The role ensures that adherence to governance, risk management, SOX Controls, BSI / ISO quality / environmental management processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

•    Supporting system migration administrative tasks & housekeeping ensuring key systems are updated & aligned
•    Supporting day to day monitoring & management of stock levels & intake ensuring correct levels are maintained to maximise customer availability & key KPIs
•    Supporting on product launches by providing administrative input, including inventory planning tools. 
•    Responsible for daily communication of delivery warnings and stock updates for all O2 channels.
•    Responsible for weekly MNVO forecast input and validation, stock assignment, SKU conversions and moves.
•    Responsible for investigating and responding to ad-hoc customer/ channel/ complaint queries.
•    The role ensures that adherence to governance, risk management, BSI / ISO quality / environmental management processes.

 

Key Skills/Experience

 

•    Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail 
•    Ability to work with complex sets of data and present in a logical and way  
•    Proficient in the use of MS Excel / BI tools 
•    Ability to work to tight timescales and prioritise workload 
•    Experience in a supply chain environment or similar industry is beneficial
