Investment Portfolio Analyst

We are the financial team of Telefónica Open Innovation, the company that acts as a link between Telefónica and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, investing in startups and identifying projects to incorporate them into Telefónica.

Like any financial department, our functions include the administrative part, accounting, treasury, taxes, financing, preparation of budgets with their monitoring and control, monitoring and control of the portfolio, financial analysis and preparation of strategic plans.

Our objective is to ensure the profitability of our investments and the quality of the data, supporting the different areas of the company, as well as the different local teams spread throughout the world.

We are looking for a new Investment Portfolio Analyst witn the following main Duties:

• Support on due diligence and preparation of the investment’s cases for approval process. Follow up after approval. Coordination with accounting, Compliance and legal if needed
• Valuation of portfolio companies using a proprietary model assessing growth, solvency, returns, etc.
• Analysis portfolio
• Elaborate financial &management reports
• Reporting

Specific Skills

• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
• Experience throughout the investment cycle (analysis, investment, monitoring and divestments) highly recommended.
• Detailed oriented
• Experience using analysis and investment tools

Technical Knowledge

• Accounting
• Excel advanced user level

Professional Experience:

• +1 Year

Languages:

• Fluent in English and Spanish, oral and written.
