Job summary:


As a multinational company, with owned operations in 25 countries, local presence in 42 and strategic alliances in Europe and Asia, Telefonica is in the best position to become the preferred provider for Multinational customers with relevant presence in Europe, Asia and the Americas.


With this ambition, It has been identified the need to capture new business internationally for the Multinational Challenge accounts working closely with the GAM in the development of the business of the accounts.


Functions/ challenges / tasks:


Account Management


  • Build trust and loyalty with users, influencers, champions and C-level executives to retain and expand business opportunities.
  • Understand customer´s Business objectives and key drivers.
  • Completes strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
  • Build strong relationships with customers at International level.


Opportunity Management


  • Prepare and present formal presentations and use excellent consultative solution selling skills to ensure long term relationship building and meet business goals. Focused in Digital Solutions and added value solutions but also keeping an eye about Core Services.
  • Negotiate complex deals


Business Management


  • Achieves assigned expectations quota in the assigned territory:
  • Develop and maintain forecast of Sales Opportunity, revenues variations, revenues growth and renegotiations.
  • Build and update regularly the Annual Business Plan with the key business indicators (Forecast, GAP analysis, action plan, key activities, ….)


Virtual Team Management


  • Develop strong relationships with internal resources including but not restricted to Product Marketing, local teams, Legal, Product Development, and Service Management of different Telefonica´s entities.
  • Develop and maintain monthly follow up calls with Acocounts Team to review business and plan actions to be performed.

Essential Skills Required:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong level of self-confidence and effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in multicultural environments
  • International travel may be required
  • 5+ years of business development experience in the professional services area to the IT selling Digital Solutions
