General Overview & Objectives:

The "International Sales Representative” position looks after the international business of large multinational customers with their headquarters in Germany with the aim of acquiring new customers, generating sales as well as cross- and upselling portfolio through Telefónica 02 Germany. In addition, he/she will be looking after customer relationship and taking care of all the necessary activities required during the sales cycle.

 

The position is based in Germany, likely in large business communities as it is expected to be in close & direct contact with customers. You will be assigned to the nearest Telefonica B2B location (Munich, Düsseldorf, Berlin-Teltow, Nuremberg and/or Hamburg) based on where you live and taking the full advantage of a flexible hybrid working model (remote work & on-site work).

 

MAIN TASKS/AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY (NON EXHAUSTIVE):

 

The “International Sales Representative and/or International Account Executive” position has the main task of generating sales and revenue across Telefonica Global Solution business portfolio through Telefónica 02 Germany.

The “International Sales Representative and/or International Account Executive”” will have a sales quota and will be responsible for all the necessary activities summarized as follow, requires to support the assigned business objectives:

 

Prospecting and Engagement:

  • Identify and target potential clients through various channels such as networking, cold calling, and digital marketing tools.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales approaches and to pinpoint potential business opportunities.
  • Initiate contact with potential clients through personalized emails, phone calls, and social media messages.
  • Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, and decision-making process to ensure they are a good match for the company’s solutions.

 

Relationship Building:

  • Build and develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with potential clients to keep them engaged and informed about new offerings and updates.

 

Proposal Development & Negotiation:

  • Customize presentations to address the specific needs and pain points of each potential client.
  • Understand and deliver Telefónica Global Solutions Value Proposition for Germany to customers according to corporate guidelines.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotations that align with the client’s needs and budget.
  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and ensure all the terms are met.
  • Coordinate all the relevant stakeholders within Telefónica 02-Germany and Telefonica Global Solution (account managers, bid managers, presales, post-sales among others to ensure customer interaction, bidding and/or service offering).
  • Negotiate terms and conditions to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new clients, ensuring they are set up and satisfied with the services provided.

 

Sales Monitoring & Tracking:

  • Track and report on key sales metrics, such as lead conversion rates, sales pipeline status, and revenue generated from new clients.
  • Use data and feedback to continuously refine and improve the sales approach.

 

PERSONAL PROFILE

 

Required Education:

  • Technical/scientific or business studies, digital marketing and/or comparable training (minimum 4 years).

 

Required Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the IT/TC industry, preferably in the large enterprise or corporate segment (such experience ideally must be within multinational and/or large enterprise customers as provider of Telco or IT related services
