Our operating company Telefónica Global Services GmbH (TGS) with around 150 employees in Ismaning near Munich is the purchasing organization of Telefónica S.A., Madrid. As a separate unit, we conduct all purchasing negotiations with Telefónica S.A. suppliers worldwide from Germany. Our local purchasing team looks after Telefonica Deutschland AG and its subsidiaries, one of the largest country units.

Your tasks:

• You will conduct independent and autonomous purchasing and price negotiations for the Technical Services division, e.g.: Logistics Services Technology and B2C, Multi Service Provider Outsourcing, Implementation Services Technology, Consulting Services, HR Services, Facility Management, Purchasing Fiber Optic Civil Engineering, etc. 
• YOU develop and implement sourcing strategies in close cooperation with the stakeholders
• YOU work closely with the specialist departments, YOU are the active interface (internal/external)
• YOU continuously monitor and analyze the procurement market
• YOU control supplier management including relationship management, assessment and further development
• YOU create tenders with the worldwide Telefónica purchasing platform (GEP SMART)
• YOU process orders and purchase orders in the ERP system, approve them and monitor the process including the solicitation and evaluation of offers and the contractual arrangements
• YOU independently create concepts, decision papers and presentations for management
• YOU support the strategic development of the purchasing department

What do YOU bring to the table?

• Completed vocational training or studies
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the purchasing field
• Industry knowledge is desirable
• First applied knowledge of common purchasing systems 
• Methodical skills
• Very good language skills in German and English
• Spanish languange skills are an advantage
