Objective of this Job:
As Manager CSA & EM, you need to communicate with various stakeholders, to understand their demands and priorities and help them structure their transformation to a sustainable cloud solution. Inside CCoE you will also be a key player in analysing dependencies to current capabilities of central could platforms, discussing priorities of feature-roadmaps or recommending new features or extensions. You will have a good understanding of the different factors influencing or inhibiting Cloud adoption and will be able to guide teams into adopting Cloud solutions - Specifically, you will be leading the Cloud Solution Architecture and Engagement team and be part of the Cloud Business Office (CBO).
What to expect
- Leading the Cloud Solution Architecture & Engagement team including roadmap planning to achieve business objectives
- Developing a Cloud enterprise plan for Telefonica and steering on Cloud value creation
- Managing relationships with Business, application & infrastructure teams throughout their cloud journey
- Providing consultancy to our internal units, translating business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints to achieve business objectives
- Understanding and participating in technical governance meetings at various levels
- Performing research activities to identify emerging cloud services, technologies, and trends to define the future
- Developing team objectives, building up required skillsets and finding the right talents on the market
- Leading a team with 10-12 head count - Accountable for 5 internal employees
What you bring
- Completed university studies or comparable in the field of computer science or comparable education
- At least 7 years of professional experience and domain knowledge in a similar role (e.g. architecture, transformation, innovation, development) on enterprise level in Cloud, IT or Telco industries
- A sound cloud platform knowledge in AWS, GCP and Azure.
- Experience with large transformations
- Understanding & experience of the challenges associated with managing & delivering cloud programmes across the project life cycle
- Understanding of enterprise IT application development and operations
- Experience in (organizational) change management, guidance through strategic decisions and Experience in building and leading a geo-distributed team of senior professionals and partners
- Experience in team leader roles will be preferred
- Ability to coach your people from a content perspective, supporting them in their challenges - Your aim is to develop a Cloud savvy organisation from Cloud experts and potential Cloud experts
- You develop individual learning paths and coach your people on the personal aspect. Providing and receiving feedback happens daily. It’s something in your personal DNA
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in English; German is a plus, but not a must
