About the Team:

 

The UK Telco market is one of the most competitive markets in Europe. O2 sell their diverse range of products and services to consumers and businesses, through a combination of direct and indirect sales channels.

O2 have introduced industry leading commissions IT capability to manage the commercial payments due to the indirect sales channels. The UK Commissions function is responsible for the accuracy and analysis of complex commission data, accurate payment calculation, reconciliation, financial assurance and reporting of indirect sales channel commission.

 

Your Role:

Reporting to the Commissions Channel Engagement Manager and working within a wider commissions team of 18, you will support the design, integration and testing of new commission system capability delivered as part of the AO2 programme

 

Responsibilities:

Supporting the Channel Engagement Manager you will play a significant role in the design and implementation of commission system capability developed as part of AO2 deployment.

 

Concentrating initially on Soho and Prepay requirements the successful candidate will work alongside the AO2 delivery team on the development of new system capability required as part of on-going commission requirements.

 

Commercially astute you will take a lead role in the documentation of existing processes and future commercial requirements.

 

As new capabilities are prepared for launch the successful candidate will support the detailed testing of data feeds and commission calculation accuracy.

 

Skills & experience:

 

Commercially astute and self-confident with demonstrable experience in understanding detailed level quality and assurance checks and understanding complex commercials across a high volume data driven framework.

 

Experience building strong and trusted relationships with a diverse set of technical and business stakeholders.

 

Positive, proactive & resilient

 

Analytical with a great attention to detail and able to quickly identify patterns in data.

 

Ability to analyse and articulate complex and detailed subject matter simply and in a thoroughly engaging manner.

 

Experience and knowledge of a large company commission calculation and sales incentive department is desirable with a proven and demonstrable track record of delivering timely accurate workload is essential.

 

Educated to A level standard essential; University degree desirable; Coupled with relevant commercial and analytical experience across a range of matters in a complex and fast paced high volume organisation. Excel to an advanced standard (Essential). MS Access (desirable). SQL Developer (desirable) Knowledge of CRM/ billing systems (desirable).
