YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK…

• Contribute to project implementation by configuring and troubleshooting VMware products as needed: vCenter Server, ESXi, Update Manager, Site Recovery Manager, Data Recovery, VCloud Director, vCenter Operations Manager, VMware Standalone Converter, NSX and VMware Workstation.
• Serve as an administrator of multiple VMware platforms, including but not limited to Versions 4.0 through 7.0
• Serve as administrator for VMware Update Manager, ensuring hosts are compliant and homogenous, and that critical updates are applied as soon as posible.
• Serve as administrator for VMware Data Recovery, ensuring protected machines are successfully backed up.
• Administrate Cisco UCS hardware as needed, including but not limited to deploying new chassis, updating firmware, installing operating systems, servicing malfunctioning hardware, racking new equipment and deploying new service profiles.
• Administrate IBM, HP and Dell server hardware as needed, including but not limited to updating firmware, installing operating systems, servicing malfunctioning hardware, and racking new equipment.
• Create, maintain, and use a variety of VMware Templates to facilitate deployment of virtual machines as needed

About your experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field, or 5 years equivalent experience in a similar role.
• Minimum of 3 years of design and implementation experience in IT, with a deep knowledge in a minimum of two of the following technical disciplines: infrastructure and network design, , servers and storage, clustering technologies, virtualization, cloud technologies and active directory and protocols.
• Experience with VMware suite of technology, VMware certifications preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative multi geographical environments.
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments.
• Deep understanding and working knowledge of server, networking and security protocols

• Spanish– professional, competent
• English -Advance with excellent written and verbal
