AREA DESCRIPTION:

As part of Corporate Treasury, TGBV is the In-House Bank for the whole Telefonica Group (the Group). Its main objective is to optimise liquidity management at group level, concentrating most of the cash generated by different Group Companies (GCs) all over the world. Core activities evolve around the consolidation of the cash positions of the GCs and balance all the bank accounts and pooling structures in a proper and efficient way. Other activities evolve around supporting the business with special operations. Besides these, there are several administrative and reporting activities to be considered.

 

MISSION :

The focus of this vacancy is on the administrative and reporting part of the activities and it provides the opportunity to have an in-depth look in Liquidity Management processes of the Group. The candidate will support in several activities related to the monthly closing (Accountancy and Reporting) and legal affairs (analysing and drafting contracts).

 

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Interest accrual bookings and compare versus real received / paid positions with banks
  • Accrual cleaning.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly closing package.
  • Draft, monitor signature and storage contracts with GCs.
  • Support GCs with banking structures, online banking profiles and banking agreements.
  • Prepare and analyse different reports.
  • Support internal audit (SOX) and external (yearly) audit process

 

EDUCATION REQUIRED: Degree in Bachelor degree in Finance / Accounting / Law. 

 

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • SAP
  • Power BI and RPA knowledge is considered a plus

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:  The ideal candidate will have approximately 3 years of relevant treasury experience

LANGUAGES: Fluency in English is a must, Fluency / Advanced Spanish considered a plus
