Developing IT for the communication of tomorrow with Telefónica

We develop the IT systems in various agile teams and thus build the applications that enable the communication of tomorrow.

You will work in a team that takes care of the applications around the central Mass Market (B2C) product catalogue and focus on the role of a Senior Developer.

As part of the RAITT (Radical Architecture IT Transformation) program, we are currently transforming our system stack, working closely with our business units in an agile setup in tribes and teams. In this exciting time, we are looking for you to join our team.

What to expect

• #Software Development: Independent and autonomous conception and continuous further development of IT applications in the Product Catalogue area (cloud-native microservice-oriented system landscape).
• #Technical Consultancy: Technical expert for topics relating to programming, application architecture, agile development process, configuration, design, interfaces, test automation and CI/CD as well as DevOps.
• #Stakeholder Management: Technical consulting and coordination of concepts with internal and external stakeholders as part of company-wide IT projects.
• #DevOps: Independent technical management and guidance of suppliers & partners as part of the DevOps processes - Ensuring deliveries in terms of quality and time as part of releases, product increments and sprints.
• #Quality Management: Ongoing success monitoring and management of external service providers based on KPIs. You will analyze the causes of problems and derive measures to optimize the operation and further development of IT applications and optimize working methods and procedures.

What you bring

• You have a degree from a university or university of applied sciences or a comparable degree, ideally in the field of #computer science.
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in #software development.
• Experience with applications in the area of #Product Catalogue (e.g., #Hansen Sigma EPC / CPQ / ...), AWS Cloud and general experience with #OOTB software products are an advantage for this position.
• Comprehensive practical programming knowledge in #JavaScript / #Typescript / #NodeJS, as well as #Kubernetes and #MongoDB are among your skills.
• You have very good language skills in #German (at least C1) and #English, both written and spoken.
